The Reds are apparently considering a move for pacy Athletic Bilbao forward Iñaki Williams according to ESPN FC. Jürgen Klopp is seeking to reinforce his options in attack and could make a £77m move.
There is competition for the 24-year-old, however, with Atlético Madrid keen to replace Antoine Griezmann, but they might have been put off by the mammoth amount they would have to fork out.
Williams is capable of playing on either wing as well as operating as a centre-forward. His versatility certainly fits the bill for the profile of player Klopp is after.
His fluid attacking mentality and searing pace would make him a good fit for the German’s turbo-charged philosophy.
This season saw the young attacker score 15 goals in all competitions as Bilbao ended the campaign in eigth position in La Liga.

ESPN FC are not always amazingly reliable, but we have been heavily linked with Williams in the past.
And, even at the start of 2016, The Guardian reported Williams was on the radar of the Reds.
Despite commiting his long-term career to Los Leones, Williams has yet to make a decision on his current future at the club with his lucrative deal at the Basque side running until 2025.
